Worthing Honey Collective
In 2017 South Downs Leisure and local social enterprise We Are FoodPioneers CIC have teamed up to host Worthing’s first-ever community-supported beehives as part of the Worthing Honey Collective. Three hives were located at Worthing Leisure Centre to house native honeybees that are looked after by our volunteers under the watchful eye of our experienced beekeeper Tony. The first honey harvest was in 2019 once the hives had grown to full size and all income was used to promote this project within the local community.

Green Dreams Green Spaces Festival
Field Place hosts the annual Green Dreams festival, which was started as a wonderful way to celebrate the wonderful, sustainable local businesses in the area, and provide the community with a free day to learn about sustainablilty in the local area, while shopping, taking part in activities and sampling some local culinary delights!
